Resolved Question: Is it okay to schedule an interview with a college?

This fall I will applying to Old Dominion University. Later this summer I will be visiting the campus. I do not believe that Old Dominion schedules interviews. Would it be at all appropriate to maybe contact head of admissions to maybe schedule some type of interview, well not even an interview interview- just sit down to meet with them before the tour of the school begins. That way they maybe could at least remember me when they are going through applications. Would that increase my likelihood of at least being remembered? What do you guys think? Thanks....
